About Us

Seattle RC Racers is a nonprofit club founded in 2009 by a group of people who want to grow the sport of RC racing in Seattle and the Pacific Northwest.  Our first venture is an indoor onroad carpet track and race program located at Magnuson Park in Seattle.  Read about us in the Seattle Times:  http://blog.nwautos.com/2011/02/small_wonders_seattles_racing_league_for_radio-controlled_cars_is_big_fun.html

For indoor racing at Hangar 30, ROAR (Remotely Operated Auto Racers) membership is required.  ROAR is the governing body for RC racing in the United States.  ROAR provides technical guidelines for racing classes, rules for competition, liability insurance for racers and organizers, and sanctions championship events throughout the year.  ROAR membership can be purchased through the club when you participate in a Seattle RC Racers event.  Annual and single event memberships are available.

In August of 2010, the Seattle RC Racers adopted a Constitution and Bylaws for governing the club.  It can be downloaded here:  SRCR Constitution and Bylaws
